What to see in Tenerife?

Drago de Icod de los Vinos
and the Cueva del Viento (Wind Cave)

The famous Drago Milenario de Icod de los Vinos is one of the main attractions of northern Tenerife. It is one of the oldest specimens of this tree species, 800/1000 years old, as well as the largest, with a height of 18 metres and a perimeter of 20 metres at the base.
Just 3 km from the centre of Icod de los Vinos there is another highly recommended site, the Cueva del Viento, a volcanic cavity created by lava from the Pico Viejo volcano some 27,000 years ago. Although the section that can be visited is barely 200m long, the galleries extend 18 km underground.

Whales in the wild

The southwest coast of the island is a privileged place to see whales in the wild. Not far from the coast you can find up to 26 different species of ocean animals: fin whales, dolphins, orcas and even blue whales. A real privilege for all lovers of the sea and its species...

Playa de las Américas and Costa Adeje

Playa de las Américas, in the municipality of Arona, represents one of the liveliest areas of Tenerife South, stretching from the Chayofita mountain to the final stretch of the Barranco del Rey ravine, bordering the municipality of Adeje.
It is a vibrant and lively area, where you can find a wide variety of bars, restaurants and shops, as well as spectacular beaches, most of them artificial, created with sand from the Sahara desert.
Costa Adeje, on the other hand, is synonymous with endless sunshine, endless fun, crystal clear sea, sandy beaches, exquisite flavours in its gastronomy and luxury times and places for the most exquisite shopping... The Troya Beaches (Troya I and Troya II), opposite our hotel Troya, are Blue Flag beaches with light brown sand and calm waters. They have umbrellas and sun loungers available for a fee and are particularly suitable for families and for practising a variety of water activities.

What to do in Tenerife?

Excursion to Teide

Located in the centre of the island, Teide is the third highest active volcano in the world and the highest peak in Spain at 3,718 metres high. This is an excursion not to be missed if you visit Tenerife, where you will have an experience full of contrasts. There is a cable car that will take you up to 3,555 metres, although to reach the crater you need authorisation and to be in good shape, as the last stretch must be done on foot.

Water parks

Tenerife South has one of the most renowned water parks in the Canary Islands, Siam Park, awarded several years as the best water park in the world. It has 15 impressive attractions and is inspired by Thai culture. Its surroundings are dominated by the lush and colourful vegetation of the place, and it is the perfect plan to unload adrenaline and have a great time with the family.
Slides, free falls, water roller coasters, curvy rides, water jumps and areas for the little ones are just a small taste of what you can find there... Don't miss it!
